Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking with The Mad Splatter. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

1. Making a Booking

  1. 1.1A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
  2. 1.2The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of their party are aware of these Terms & Conditions and the Customer Waiver.
  3. 1.3The person making the booking must be aged 18 or over unless otherwise agreed by The Mad Splatter.
  4. 1.4Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.
  5. 1.5Places are limited and are allocated according to the booking made. Additional participants cannot be guaranteed unless agreed with The Mad Splatter in advance.

2. Prices & Payment

  1. 2.1All prices are as advertised at the time of booking.
  2. 2.2Payment must be made in accordance with the booking instructions.
  3. 2.3Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to their individual terms and expiry dates.
  4. 2.4Discounts cannot be combined unless specifically stated.
  5. 2.5The Mad Splatter reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors before a booking is confirmed.

3. Cancellations by the Customer

  1. 3.1Due to the limited number of spaces available for each session, bookings are subject to the cancellation terms displayed at the time of booking.
  2. 3.2Unless a different cancellation period is specifically stated when booking, customers may request to cancel or move their booking by contacting The Mad Splatter at least 48 hours before the booked session.
  3. 3.3Where cancellation is made within the permitted cancellation period, The Mad Splatter may offer a refund, credit or alternative date at its discretion and in accordance with the booking terms displayed at the time of purchase.
  4. 3.4Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may be non-refundable because the space may not be possible to resell.
  5. 3.5No-shows are normally non-refundable.
  6. 3.6If you arrive after your scheduled session has started, we may be unable to extend the session or provide additional time.

4. Rescheduling

  1. 4.1Requests to change the date or time of a booking should be made as early as possible.
  2. 4.2Changes are subject to availability.
  3. 4.3The Mad Splatter cannot guarantee that an alternative date or time will be available.
  4. 4.4Repeated requests to move a booking may be refused.

5. Illness

  1. 5.1Please do not attend The Mad Splatter if you or anyone in your party is suffering from an infectious illness or is otherwise unfit to participate safely.
  2. 5.2If someone becomes unwell shortly before the booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
  3. 5.3Where possible, we will try to offer an alternative date, subject to availability and our cancellation policy.
  4. 5.4Refunds or credits for illness are not guaranteed and will be considered in accordance with the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.

6. Arrival

  1. 6.1Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled session unless your booking confirmation states otherwise.
  2. 6.2Arriving late may reduce the amount of time available for your session.
  3. 6.3Sessions cannot normally be extended to compensate for late arrival because another booking may follow.
  4. 6.4If you arrive significantly late, The Mad Splatter reserves the right to refuse participation where allowing you to join would compromise safety or disrupt another booking.

7. Children & Supervision

  1. 7.1Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult where required by the specific session.
  2. 7.2The accompanying adult remains responsible for the child or children in their care throughout the visit.
  3. 7.3Parents and guardians must ensure that children follow staff instructions and behave safely.
  4. 7.4The Mad Splatter reserves the right to stop participation where a child's behaviour creates a safety risk.

8. Customer Safety

  1. 8.1All participants must follow instructions given by The Mad Splatter staff.
  2. 8.2Customers must read and accept the Customer Waiver before participating.
  3. 8.3Customers must tell staff about any medical condition, allergy, disability or other circumstance that may affect their ability to participate safely.
  4. 8.4The Mad Splatter reserves the right to refuse or stop participation where someone is behaving dangerously, aggressively or in a way that creates a risk to themselves, staff or other customers.
  5. 8.5The activity involves paint, movement and potentially wet or slippery surfaces. Customers participate at their own risk, subject to The Mad Splatter's legal responsibilities.

9. Clothing & Personal Belongings

  1. 9.1The Mad Splatter is a messy experience and paint may stain clothing, shoes, hair and personal belongings.
  2. 9.2Customers are strongly advised to wear old clothing and suitable footwear.
  3. 9.3Valuable or delicate belongings should not be taken into the activity area.
  4. 9.4The Mad Splatter cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings except where we are legally responsible.

10. Alcohol

  1. 10.1Alcohol may only be consumed at events where The Mad Splatter has expressly permitted it.
  2. 10.2Customers must drink responsibly.
  3. 10.3Anyone who appears intoxicated or whose behaviour creates a safety concern may be refused entry or asked to leave.
  4. 10.4No refund will normally be provided where participation is refused because of intoxication or unsafe behaviour.

11. Customer Behaviour

  1. 11.1Customers are expected to treat staff, other customers and the premises with respect.
  2. 11.2The following behaviour is not permitted: fighting or physical aggression; threatening or abusive behaviour; deliberately causing injury; deliberately damaging property; unsafe behaviour; ignoring staff safety instructions; harassment or discriminatory behaviour; bringing prohibited items onto the premises.
  3. 11.3The Mad Splatter reserves the right to immediately end a session or refuse future bookings where serious or repeated unacceptable behaviour occurs.
  4. 11.4Where a customer deliberately or recklessly causes damage to the premises or equipment, The Mad Splatter reserves the right to seek reasonable compensation for the damage.

12. Photography & Social Media

  1. 12.1The Mad Splatter may take photographs or videos for marketing and social media purposes where appropriate consent has been provided.
  2. 12.2Customers should inform staff before their session if they do not wish to appear in promotional photography or video.
  3. 12.3Customers must not photograph or record other customers without their permission.

13. Changes to Bookings by The Mad Splatter

  1. 13.1Occasionally it may be necessary for The Mad Splatter to change or cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including building issues, equipment failure, staff emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
  2. 13.2Where The Mad Splatter cancels a booking, we will normally offer an alternative date or a refund, as appropriate.
  3. 13.3We will make reasonable efforts to contact affected customers using the contact details provided at the time of booking.

14. Force Majeure

  1. 14.1The Mad Splatter will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing a booking where this results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  2. 14.2Such circumstances may include serious building problems, utility failure, fire, flooding, extreme weather, government restrictions, serious staff emergencies or other unforeseen events.
  3. 14.3Where appropriate, affected customers will be offered an alternative date or refund.

15. Refunds

  1. 15.1Any refund will be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
  2. 15.2Refund times may depend on the payment provider or bank.
  3. 15.3Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

16. Gift Vouchers

  1. 16.1Gift vouchers are subject to any expiry date and specific terms stated on the voucher.
  2. 16.2Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash.
  3. 16.3Lost or stolen gift vouchers may not be replaceable.

17. Accessibility & Additional Requirements

  1. 17.1We want The Mad Splatter to be accessible and enjoyable for as many people as possible.
  2. 17.2If you or a member of your group has an accessibility requirement or needs additional assistance, please contact us before booking where possible.
  3. 17.3We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate additional requirements, subject to the layout of the premises and the safety of the participant, staff and other customers.

18. Liability

  1. 18.1The Mad Splatter takes reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and properly managed experience.
  2. 18.2Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
  3. 18.3This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
  4. 18.4Subject to the above, The Mad Splatter is not responsible for loss, damage or injury resulting from a customer's failure to follow instructions, unsafe behaviour or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

19. Complaints

  1. 19.1We want every customer to have a great experience.
  2. 19.2If you have a problem during your visit, please tell a member of staff as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.
  3. 19.3Complaints can also be made after your visit by contacting The Mad Splatter.
  4. 19.4We will consider complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

20. Privacy

  1. 20.1Personal information provided during the booking process will be handled in accordance with The Mad Splatter's Privacy Policy.
  2. 20.2Customer information will only be used and retained in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

21. Acceptance of Terms

  1. 21.1By completing a booking with The Mad Splatter, you confirm that: you have read and accepted these Booking Terms & Conditions; you understand that The Mad Splatter is a paint-splatter experience and that clothing may become stained; you agree to follow all safety instructions; you understand the cancellation and rescheduling terms; you confirm that the information provided during booking is accurate; you agree to ensure that members of your party are aware of the relevant terms and safety requirements.

The Mad Splatter reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to your booking will be those provided or made available to you at the time you make your booking.
